Social Impact Assessment (SIA) of 
Kankan-Kese Road Development & 
Dump Site, Kese-Badagry (2015)

Banci Nigeria Limited (BNL), a civil engineering and construction company has embarked on the Kankon-Kese Road Development & Dumpsite located at Kese in Kankon community, Badagry Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State.   

 BNL commissioned Rain Forest Limited to carry out a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study of the Kankan-Kese community to present a baseline description of the social, cultural and economic environment. It is the intention of BNL to carry out this project following International Standards and in particular, the regulatory requirements of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) as it relates to Federal Ministry of Environment (FMEnv.) EIA Act (Decree No. 86) of 1992. It is also in conformance with Banci Nigeria Limited policy on sustainable development.
